Hi, Iām Hannah
I am a clinical psychologist currently offering private therapy alongside my consultancy role in a mental health charity. As a therapist, I draw on personal and professional experience to offer guidance within a warm, non-judgemental space. I like to work together with my client, exploring their needs and preferences and then offering ideas informed by a range of psychological models. The models I draw on most are Schema Therapy and third-wave CBT therapies such as ACT and CFT. Often our work involves uncovering and strengthening resources that people already have or getting in touch with lost values.
I have 15 years experience working therapeutically in the NHS, private and charity sector, both in the UK and abroad. I have worked with a wide range of difficulties and have most experience in working with people with complex trauma, interpersonal difficulties and long-standing struggles with low mood or anxiety.
I understand that it can take time to build trust with a therapist and that the relationship is going to be key to change. Therefore I offer a free initial phone consultation as a chance for you to meet me and see how we connect.
